ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction through closeout. You will serve as the central point of communication for all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. This role requires a deep understanding of construction means and methods, contract administration, and financial controls to effectively manage scope, schedule, and cost.
This position demands strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, as you will be responsible for directing project teams, managing budgets, and ensuring that all work is delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, trade partners, and internal teams will be critical to the success of each project you lead.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the planning, execution, and closeout of complex construction projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and contractual requirements.
- Manage comprehensive project budgets, forecasts, and schedules, implementing rigorous controls to manage costs and mitigate delays.
- Coordinate all project activities with architects, engineers, general contractors, and vendors, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients and stakeholders, providing clear, consistent, and accurate reporting on project status, risks, and financial performance.
- Enforce stringent safety and quality assurance standards across all project sites and activities.
- Manage procurement, contract negotiation, and administration of all third-party agreements.
- Proactively identify, assess, and resolve project issues and risks to ensure successful delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of project management experience in the construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of construction projects.
- Proficiency in construction management software and standard office applications.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, cost control, and risk management principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead project teams effectively.
- Experience in mission-critical, life sciences, or complex mixed-use projects is a plus.
The base salary range for this position is $140,000–$170,000 annually. This role may also be eligible for bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation decisions are based on several factors including experience, qualifications, and business needs
